The National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) promotes national correct coding methodologies to control improper coding leading to inappropriate payment. The goal of the NCCI is to help providers to avoid coding and billing errors and subsequent payment denials through the use of NCCI automated code pair edits and Medically Unlikely Edits (MUEs). InterGroup and Valley Preferred now offer a joint network access agreement offering superior network coverage including the Lehigh Valley. The agreement allows employers to access both the InterGroup PPO network and the Valley Preferred PPO network. Employers no longer need to choose one network or the other. the InterGroup PPO Network in Pennsylvania
World Insurance® Company (World) will utilize the InterGroup PPO Network in Pennsylvania beginning on September 1, 2008. World will use InterGroup’s comprehensive network to market individual PPO products.
